Judaism Hanukkah
December 8-15 2023 ~ December 7 (sunset) - 15 (nightfall) ~

Hanukkah is the celebration in Judaism that is most known to non-Jews. This festival of lights is based on the story of the lamp oil that was only enough to burn for 1 night but miraculously burned for 8 nights. Hence, a candle is lit for each of the 8 nights on a menorah. This year, Hanukkah begins at sunset on December 3, 2018 and ends after sundown on December 10. Here's a few video expressions of Hanukkah, especially for kids (1) & teens (2) ~ fun for the whole family ~ enJOY!
