Each tribe had their own language and customs including prayer and prayer ceremonies. Most, if not all Natives, had great reverence for the earth and there are many beautiful prayers that speak to Oneness.

fill us with the light.
Give us the strength to understand
and the eyes to see.
Teach us to walk the soft earth
as relatives to all that live.
