What truth is speaking to me in the light?

I am guided by Love & oh holy Light!

Look for the light today! See it, really see it coming through windows, trees, leaves ...
shining on water, on hair, on a hillside or tall building. See the twinkling of Christmas lights decorating houses & stores ~ which ones are your favorites?! Now, look again & affirm that the light you see is holy light & that this holy light also shines brightly inside you!

Looking up to Holy Light!

Thank You great Creator for Your Love & Light flowing through life this moment, this day & always! May I see with eyes of sacred awareness, the holy light shining through all of life!
As I see this holiness, may I reflect it back with a shining presence of yes, yes, yes!

Interfaith Inspirations

Native NativeDecember
For Native Americans of the Zuni tribe in New Mexico, December marks the time of the
Shalako Kochina Ceremony.  For other aboriginal tribes, this is the season when the river freezes
and the land sleeps, known as Luut’aa.

ChristianIslam ~ December 1st ~ Mawlid al-Nabi
Islamic commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, founder of Islam, in about 570 c.e.
Not universally observed. The prophet's teachings are read and religious meetings are held.
Shia and Sunni on separate days.
Observed by Sunni Muslims beginning at sundown December 1st.
Shi’a Muslims celebrate five days later, on December 6th

ChristianChristianChristian ~December 3rd ~ December 25th ~ Advent
Advent marks the beginning of the Christian worship year in preparation for the birth of Jesus Christ.
Always beginning on the Sunday nearest November 30, it is observed with the lighting of advent candles, display of wreaths and special ceremonies.
Many families also use an advent calendar with their children for the month of December leading up to Christmas; each day offering a special surprise.
The sparkle of the season fills me with hope.
